MCG invites Wallace and Gromit for tea...
In December, MCG held one of many Great British Tea Parties across the nation in order to raise cash and awareness for Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation; which helps to raise vital funds for sick children and their families in hospitals and hospices across the UK.
It was a ladylike affair with trimmed crusts and at least three teapots in attendance. An array of cakes, biscuits, scones and fancies adorned the table with a mountain of Rocky Road for those who could squeeze in a few more bites.
After devouring what they could and sipping away at Betty's best blend, MCG popped into the other offices in Alexandra House to share the nibbles. With the help of Mencap, Arcus and Essential Medical, MCG have raised just over £50 for The Children's Hospice.
We hope to hold another tea party next year with an open invite to neighbouring offices in Chapel Allerton.
