MCG links up with LIVEBAIT to raise funds for Leeds hospitals
MCG has linked up with seafood restaurant LIVEBAIT Leeds to help them raise funds for St. Gemma's Hospice and Sue Ryder's Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds with an event on Tuesday 1 June.
LIVEBAIT will be hosting its first ever charity event at its Call Lane restaurant. Guests will be treated to an evening of delectable canapés courtesy of LIVEBAIT's head chef, Nick Colley. Tom Darlison, Manager of the Leeds restaurant, has also chosen a delicious champagne which will complement the clean, zingy flavours from the LIVEBAIT kitchen. All proceeds collected on the evening will go to the charities.
"We're hoping visitors on the evening will be happy to contribute a small £5 donation towards the evening which will go directly to St. Gemma's and Wheatfields along with all funds raised from the charity raffle", says Tom Darlison, LIVEBAIT's Manager.
MCG's Account Manager Joss Rankin who is coordinating the event says: "We're delighted to be able to put our PR and event management skills to such good use. LIVEBAIT is making a real commitment to these local charities and both causes are important to the team here at MCG so we'll be doing everything we can net as many guests as possible."
