Kate's secret recipe
It's no coincidence that MCG has a number of foody clients. It would be fair to say that we're passionate about what we eat and we love to talk about it. We always enjoy working with the food and drink media, so when the opportunity to be involved with Red magazine's feature on hand-me-down recipes came up, MCG's director Kate Gray volunteered to share a family secret.
Kate's mum's cheesecake is legendary at MCG but she is never willing to part with the recipe. The Red magazine feature tells the story of how the recipe has been handed down through her family but, when the magazine came out we were disappointed to find that the crucial details aren't included.
Kate says: "The feature was photographed in my house and I had to make a number of cheesecakes before and during the shoot to ensure we had all the different stages for photography. It was a really interesting day and I learnt a great deal during the shoot but I prefer being behind the scenes. I was prepared to hand over the recipe but I'm pleased they didn't use the details because I don't think my family would have forgiven me."
