Shadow Health Minister pledges to put "public" back into health
MCG has been rubbing shoulders with MP and Shadow Minister for Health Mark Simmonds at a national conference, which we worked on with our client, the leading health and social care law firm Hempsons.
At the recent 'The Future Healthcare Landscape – What Happens Next' conference hosted in London, Mark Simmonds told an audience of 90 leading healthcare decision-makers that a Conservative Government would put a much greater focus on improving public health and information as well as announcing the Department of Health would be renamed the Department of Public Health and an independent and autonomous NHS Board would be introduced – to run the service and set objectives.
