Del Monte gets air time and the celebrity treatment
MCG secured air time on BBC Radio 2's Chris Evan's radio show when Chris Wenham, MD of Denuo Foods and creator of Del Monte's range of frozen fruit, was interviewed by Rebecca Pike (aka Foxy), on the Innovation slot about how he came up with the idea for premium frozen fruit and the innovative frozen pineapple stick.
"The idea for the pineapple stick came about from a trip to Thailand where I witnessed an old Thai woman sitting at the side of the road carving a whole pineapple into smaller spiralled sticks with a machete." explained Chris Wenham.
MCG is also talking to Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace about being involved in new product launches for Del Monte frozen fruit.
