MCG secures celebrity help for a good cause
Following the success of last year's campaign which raised over £6,000, Damart has once again teamed up with Heart Research UK for the 'Love Your Heart' campaign. MCG contacted TV star Sarah Jayne Dunn asking her to help raise awareness of Heart Research UK's work by modelling the gorgeous new limited edition t-shirt which was designed by Damart and urges women to 'Love Your Heart'.
Sarah Jayne said: "I am thrilled to be part of Damart's campaign to raise money for Heart Research UK and the fantastic work they do. Many women are unaware that cardiovascular disease is their main killer and that is why I am supporting this positive campaign and urging everyone to help by buying a t-shirt for their mum, sister, daughter or friend."
Damart's marketing director, John Bottomley said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Heart Research UK. The majority of our customers are women and they do not seem to realise how at risk they are from heart disease, particularly as they grow older. We hope to raise even more money this year and also increase awareness about the disease in order to help our customers, staff and women around the UK look after their hearts."
