PRide Award wins

We've always known it, but now the top PR industry awards have confirmed it – we have the Outstanding Young Communicator here at MCG.

Account Director Rebecca Douglas received the well-deserved Gold award at this year's Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards for our region.

We were also delighted to polish off a Silver award for best Corporate and Business Communications campaign for our client Nunwood, the market and customer insight specialists based in Leeds, London and New York.

The judges described Rebecca as a very strong all-rounder communicator with a great breadth of experience across a number of sectors and specialist media. Tell us something we don't know!

They added: "With a variety of in house and agency roles on her CV Rebecca instinctively recognises the importance of strong communications between client and agency and understands first hand the pressure in house teams are under and how to effectively manage relations and communicate with clients in a sensitive and professional manner."

Rebecca's voluntary role as Trustee of the Support Dogs charity was also mentioned – it was chewsticks all round (and a glass of bubbly or two for her of course).

The CIPR PRide Awards attracted 1,448 entries this year in 12 regions across the UK, competing for awards in 24 categories.
