Mastering accountancy for small business in Ireland

MCG has taken the dynamic TaxAssist Accountants story to Ireland with the launch of the network's first Master Franchise Licence.

The UK's largest network of accountants, TaxAssist Accountants has built a network of 165 practices across the UK, the majority of them shop-front premises, looking after the books and taxes of self-employed people and small businesses.

The Republic of Ireland marks its first international Master Franchise and MCG handled PR for the Dublin launch, which saw local businesses, councillors, ministers and journalists gather to wish them well. The event saw the opening of the first and flagship TaxAssist Accountants shop-front in Ireland – a network of over 50 are planned across the Republic.

Master Franchisors for Ireland, Greg Murphy and Roddy Comyn, needed to announce their arrival both to business owners in the Republic – as potential customers – and budding entrepreneurs, looking to invest in a TaxAssist Accountants franchise, so were delighted with major articles in Ireland's major business paper The Sunday Business Post and leading franchise publication Irish Franchise magazine, as well as other Irish business media.

“The strength of the media coverage achieved for us in Ireland, was the extensive use of all our key messages. The TaxAssist Accountants concept is very new in the accountancy world and it is essential our offer is explained and understood by our target customers and franchise owners.

“MCG ensured key journalists got what we're about and talked about the gap in the market for straightforward, accessible tax and accountancy services solely for small businesses.”
