TaxAssist Accountants
TaxAssist Accountants is the largest national network of independent accountants working specifically for small business, offering them tax and accountancy advice.
MCG PR was tasked with a three month project working with over 160 individual franchisees to help raise their profile with their local and regional media.
Initially the brief was simply to place Q&As in the relevant media, but this quickly turned into more of a varied and dynamic campaign as each conversation with the individual franchisee and their media threw up very different opportunities and issues to address.
The final project consisted of a combination of Q&As, by-lined articles, tailored business news on topical issues, expansion stories, community news and advertorial support.
To date, the project has generated 64 pieces of coverage across the media and a return on investment of more than 2.5 times consultancy fee based on advertising rates and seven times consultancy fee based on editorial value.
In practical terms for TaxAssist Accountants' franchisees the PR activity has generated new business leads, increased awareness of what they do in their local business communities and helped kick start relationships with their local media.
