The Black Sheep Brewery
When MCG was asked to promote The Black Sheep Brewery's presence at The Great Yorkshire Show, they faced competition from hundreds of exhibitors and brands, not to mention world-beating Best of Breeds.
Unbowed we found our very own Black Sheep animal hero in Nobby the dancing Longhorn sheep and part of the Black Sheep-sponsored Sheepshow display. Nobby had a taste for Riggwelter, the brewery's strongest ale at 5.9% volume, whose name aptly comes from the Norse for sheep on its back. A little bit of what he fancied made a marked improvement in his dancing skills and made local TV and national press news.
MCG has also secured profiles on the thriving brewery in key trade media including Morning Advertiser and The Publican and is promoting Black Sheep's support for its growing number of FlagSheep pubs as well as the major pub groups and supermarkets.
MCG is supporting the brewery's popular cask beers Black Sheep Bitter, Black Sheep Ale, Emmerdale and Riggwelter as well as its extensive range of bottled beers, which include Holy Grail: currently taking London and New York by storm as Monty Python fans flock to see the musical Spamelot.
