Engaging bloggers with a food photography masterclass
MCG was tasked by Pink Lady® apples to engage a variety of bloggers and journalists in order to increase awareness of the brand. MCG selected bloggers from a range of areas, with a specific focus on fashion, beauty, fitness and lifestyle in order to gain exposure for the Pink Lady® brand in new places which can be difficult for a food brand to access.
To promote the brand amongst key influencers, positioning Pink Lady® as a premium lifestyle brand and achieving exposure for the event on social channels and leading lifestyle blogs. The aim was to host an event which not only supported the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Awards but also offered attendees valuable tips and skills.
MCG held a full day event at Carousel London, offering bloggers and journalists a half-day photography masterclass to hone their skills, whether using a smartphone or top of the range DSLR camera.

Photos from the event posted on Instagram by attendees reached over 145,000 people
Posts on Twitter reached more than 85,000 people and posts on Facebook reached almost 40,000 people.
