Katie's leopard print lovelies

It’s fair to say I’m a bit of a fashion junkie.  I’m not saying I’m always head to toe in the latest clobber featured in the pages of Vogue- which normal 26 year old is?!  Nor do I embrace every single fashion trend with open arms and great enthusiasm, as let’s  face it, most are absolutely ridiculous, *think fruit shaped, over sized earrings, leather hot pants and high heeled clog shoes,  to name but a few delights…

I’m more of a fashion voyeur or extreme people watcher in other words.  Like seeing what people choose to wear, how they put different things together and quizzing people, strangers included, on where they got “that” top from.

Working within the PR industry, we’re lucky to enjoy creative surroundings and can be quite relaxed in what we choose to wear, with some exceptions of course!   And so on that note, starting with the MCG lot, I thought I’d give a bit of a running commentary on some of the things we wear to work everyday- a bit of a ‘what’s hot and what’s not’ at 31 Harrogate Road.  Although be warned, this may include the occasional fancy dress outfit- we’ve already seen a skeleton onesie and dinosaur outfit in the past two months!  And I promise not to turn into a glorified Gok Wan (the man scares me!)

Katie wins the first post with her leopard print shoes.   It’s quite rare for any of us to wear heels for a normal day in the office so these were definitely a winner.  After a day in these 4 inch babies, Katie was still willing to walk to the kitchen and make the tea- a good test for painful feet, although she did admit that she wouldn’t be wearing them again for a long time.  At least they made her look a bit taller…
