The girls and I had spotted the hype for Eat St at Kings X on King’s Boulevard just behind the station a while ago, but had never found the time to drag our busy (and lazy) backsides down there for lunch. However, after an intensely tough and depressing morning, we decided today was the day.
Today’s traders included The Ribman, Jamon Jamon, Hardcore Prawn, Homeslice and Big Apple Hot Dogs. With such a delicious selection to choose from we were overwhelmed for a minute or two, then all three of us decided we needed pork in our lives; substantial amounts of bbq’d pork.

Christmas isn’t Christmas without a belly full of mince pies. Of course we all like a home baked mince pie fresh from the oven, lid lifted to insert a blob of brandy butter. But, what with the all the working and present shopping, making mince pies is quite low on our list of priorities at the moment, so we decided to test the best the supermarkets have to offer.
