Never a dull moment on the Damart fashion account: Sharan and I were lucky enough to spend two days at the London College of Fashion and help style the new AW11 Look Book recently.

Linking up with the College at the start of 2011, students were asked to give Damart a brand new image, styling a photo shoot with items from the SS11 collection.

The team at Damart was so impressed with the results they asked two final year students, Justyna and Krishna, to help style and shoot the new AW11 Look Book, allowing them to take the project in whatever creative direction they wanted.

The shoot took two full days with endless outfit swaps, lots of hair spraying and make-up touch ups and quick set changes to make sure each shot was ‘just right.’  The only slight moment of panic came when forcing the model’s size 6 foot into a size 4 sample shoe…

For us, it was a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the creative process from the very start and to have our own input into how we envisaged the final Look Book should turn out.  We’re really proud of the final images and can’t wait to see what people think of Damart’s new style.
