Last week’s Budget announcement offered the ideal opportunity and Thursday saw Claire and me hot-footing it to Menston, trying to convince camera-shy locals to talk to the lovely David Cramp from TaxAssist Accountants about what the Budget would actually mean for them.

One ‘open air’ office set up in park, three interviews and two hours later it was in the bag. And the result? Two minutes of invaluable prime time TV and a big gold star on the coverage chart!
