About MCG PR
MCG is a young and enthusiastic team of PR professionals headed up by the three co-founders and directors, Christine Mortimer, Sarah Chadwick and Kate Gray. Two of the three directors worked as journalists before moving into PR, and all have worked both in-house and in agency with a total of 50 years' experience between them.
Members of the MCG team bring a wealth of wide-ranging experience to their work, with areas of specialism including crisis management, corporate communications, internal communications and public sector PR as well as business-to-business and consumer media relations.
We work on outcomes rather than hours, looking at what companies want to achieve from their PR and ensuring that we are able to meet those goals within the fee.
Good communications skills are vital, but we believe that other talents are equally important in a good PR person. Whether it's hand-carving, dressmaking, performance martial arts or a detailed knowledge of Malawi's best music venues, everyone at MCG has a positive approach to problem solving for our clients, and we always look for the responsibility gene when expanding our team.
